| Ultra Minimalist and Contemporary House Design By Andres Remy Architectos Posted: 21 Aug 2011 07:38 PM PDT Dubbed as Carrara, this house has an amazing masterpiece of modern architecture that is created by Andres Remy Architectos. it is not exaggerated if it is said as one of the luxurious modern houses ever made in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Carrara House attracts attention first of all by the geometry of form, a rectangle supported by a rough stone wall. From one side the house is hidden from the neighbors' eyes but from the other side it's opened to the garden with the help of the windows from ceiling to floor. The interior done in such modern, with simple colors and bright accents: red and green. Then what makes it interesting is the pond which is built inside the house with the plants near it. The sounds of water drifted out the whole room which then creates a relaxing nuance .The stone wall is continued inside the living room in a big fireplace. See the images below for further.

Inspired by sculptures of Jorge Oteiza, it is called as Open Box House. The house is situated in the outskirts of Madrid. The shape looks so unique, which the façade is made of granulated concrete. The area of 2600 square meters covers all the garage and facilities, four bedrooms, a library, a living room, a kitchen and servant's quarter. The furniture is also done by A-cero. At night when it's illuminated it's like one more modern sculpture. The house dominates over the landscapes and its forms are striking.

| Sand Out With Rustic Design and Has Classy Construction Posted: 21 Aug 2011 07:08 PM PDT Seeing this house for the first time made me amazed with its stand out and classy construction. The design of the tiled roof and many windows make this small house look like one of these old rustic houses in the villages at the seaside. To be honest I get surprised when I saw this house with rustic style. The house which is built in Denmark has antique style where the designers put different old things in the garden like an old watering pot, lamp or bench. Inside you will find the same picture. Each detail reminds of a village. Even the floor looks like usual wood not like expensive laminated flooring board. Multicolored rugs and bedspreads gain the feeling of a village house. The furniture is vintage and it really gives a sense of old and used.

Karim always manages things to find out the most simple and genial solution. Now the designer creates this rotational-moulded chair for Italian furniture brand B-Line. Dubbed as Woopy, the hollow plastic chair is moulded in one piece, and can be both indoors and outdoors. An accompanying footstool, called Snoop, has two pockets reaching into its legs and can be stacked to form a bookshelf. It does look simple plastic , yet it really looks so cute with its bright colors. This plastic chair is easy to clean.

Previously we have shared you all a nice flower pot with a photo frame, now we resent you a little bit different. Finished by Qualy Design, it is a self-watering pot with a design of a squirrel in a log. They are tied in Log and Squirrel because the small rodent appears as a water gauge.
