Professional tradesmen – it’s their life’s work Posted: 31 Aug 2013 12:54 AM PDT There are a lot of professions out there where people mainly just work to get their bills paid, to pay for their gas and occasional beer. In case of quite many professions, there’s usually no calling involved. A job is just a means to an end. However, there are also professions where many of the workers don’t see it as a job, but rather as their life’s work, as a calling. And professional tradesmen definitely fit into this category. They can be anything from roofers to woodworkers, from carpenters to plumbers, from electricians to bricklayers or auto mechanics. They are the men and women who make significant contributions to our society each and every day. And those people need to be thanked, their contributions need to be celebrated and recognized. A world-class manufacturer of professional power tool accessories and hand tools, IRWIN Tools initiated the National Tradesmen Day exactly for that reason – to say thanks to those who deserve it. This year the National Tradesmen Day is held on September 20 and recognition events for the day will be organized all around the U.S. For more information about it we invite you to check out www.nationaltradesmenday.com or http://www.facebook.com/nationaltradesmenday.
