Yerger residence in Phoenix by Chen + Suchart Studio Posted: 19 Jul 2013 01:53 AM PDT Chen + Suchart Studio has designed the Yerger residence  in Phoenix, Arizona. The project main objective was to build a comfortable house overlooking Camelback Mountain. The structure is concrete but is combined with floating steel sheets. The main living space the house retains an open configuration with great lighting because of the possibility of sliding glass sliding doors for a completely uninhibited. It has two full bedrooms with bathrooms. The interior finishes are highly refined industrial raw materials to enhance the unique qualities each housing.

OM House by Guillermo Torres in Brazil Posted: 18 Jul 2013 01:53 PM PDT Guillermo Torres, a young Brazilian architect, was hired by an elderly couple from a house of contemporary design in a residential area in Londrina (Brazil). Customers asked how a house while functional and large enough to invite the whole family on weekends. The room is well supplied with natural light overlooking the pool. The project uses some native coating materials, so the impact was minimized with nature. The windows of the rooms were built in wood by local artisans, a more economical and sustainable use of synthetic materials.

Costa Rica MC1 House by Robles Architects Posted: 18 Jul 2013 01:54 AM PDT Robles Architects  has completed MC1 House, a house in a residential area in the middle of Manuel Antonio National Park in Quepos Costa Rica. The initial idea was to bring the project in hand with nature, designing a home that respects the natural environment as much as possible, for that natural resources were used to minimize environmental impact, relying on the reuse and recycling. The building has bioclimatic characteristics for the high use of natural factors such as wind and natural light.

Besides having a really modern design incorporates energy efficiency system by including three water tanks, brick walls, sun control panels, blinds smart and hot water with solar cells. The building has a structure that provides honesty to the readability of the forms. The high quality materials complement the finish with a natural touch.
