Located in Southern California, the house has 3,500 sq ft of size areas. The primary design objective was blurring the line between inside and outside. The house has two floor, the firs floor there are living room, dining room, kitchen, study/guest room, closet, bathroom, storage, stairs tower. | Courtyard House, Two House Design with Transparent Connecting Pavilion Posted: 08 Oct 2013 09:43 AM PDT Originally designed by Roland Terry. Then evolved into a complete remodeling and expansion. Starting at the walkway, the house is revealed as a series of layered spaces with intermittent places of rest. The pavilion physically and visually unites the courtyard to the lakeside terrace and to the lake through large sliding glass panels.
