| Houseboats with Modern Villa Architecture by Arkitektfirmaet C. F. Møller Posted: 10 Mar 2014 12:34 AM PDT This Houseboats is single-family floating homes, was designed by Arkitektfirmaet C. F. Møller. Combine the qualities of a home on the water with modern villa architecture.
From Architects : ” Floating homes which combine the qualities of a home on the water with modern villa architecture. That is the idea behind two single-family floating homes in one and two storeys, respectively, designed by C. F. Møller Architects. The bright, white bodies are diagonally angled, giving the homes a view upwards and out towards the harbor basin, the sea and the sky, while at the same time maximizing the amount of privacy. The slanting surfaces have been utilized for staircases and relaxation areas. The staircases provide an abstract maritime reference, and form a distinctive element in the design. ” |
