Even though art today still have the same meaning with art from ancient time, but today, people gain lot of money with art. Besides, artist treated like princes and princesses by public. Thus, many people compete to become famous artist which will produce more money. No matter what is the reason, but to fulfilled the needs of the people in arts, many private sectors or many people try to fulfilled the needs with established some arts school or college, such example Watkins College of Art and Design which is located in Nashville, Tennessee. Watkins College offers the bachelor degrees in film, graphic designs, interior designs, fine arts, and photography and also Post Graduates certificate in film and graphic designs. The programs was started from young program with the students age about 4 years to adult programs through the Young Artist Program, the Adult community Education Program, The Artist lecture series and many more including classes which is ran based on semester like Summer, spring and fall. The history of the school itself is very unique. The college was established by the year of 1885 by a businessman named Samuel Watkins which was finally become the founder of Watkins Institute. But this college became nationally accredited by the National Association of School of Art and Design (NASAD) by the year of 1996. The college was built in Church streets downhill Tennessee, then by the year of 1999, it moved to temporary facilities in the Oaks area then to its current location in the year 2002.
