GMP architects have completed design and construction of the Universiade Sport Center in Shenzhen, China. It is a sport complex with the particularity that occurs as a large park, landscaped, with typical elements of a traditional Chinese garden. Watercourses and plants symbolize the movement and development, while the continuity and stability provide the Crystal in the form of stone and rock structures. The conceptual part of the design is the dialogue between the forms of the landscape and the expressive architecture of the stadiums. The crystalline form of the three stadiums stands out at night with lighting of the transparent facades.
