The AIGA (re) DesignAwards accept submissions Posted: 30 Aug 2011 01:04 AM PDT The sustainable (re) now open for the international design community, DesignAwards honor and powerful design tools AIGA strengthens its mission, design forward, such as a professional craft, strategic and vital cultural force tool allow the AIGA (re) DesignAwards. AIGA (re) DesignAwards is a design competition, which underlines the importance and innovation for sustainable and equitable work, created by design professionals, students, teachers and companies and organizations around the world. The design has the inherent power to transform the behavior and the shape of culture. Therefore, designers have a responsibility and a huge opportunity to use it does ignite change and the importance of sustainable development for individuals to communicate company and the society as a whole. The (re) DesignAwards competition recognizes design, the us to the rethink our world and encourages our decisions. AIGA seeks innovative presentations from design professionals, students, educators, businesses and organizations that have achieved excellence in sustainable design. Entry fees range from $30 for students and members of the AIGA and $85 for non-members of the series. The competition has two categories: social responsibility and environmental sustainability. The category of corporate social responsibility, must design for a company or an organisation whose mission of social responsibility. To the category of the sustainability of the environment, must be environmentally the entry sustainable design for a business or organization. The competition runs until 22 July 2011 with entries checked and selected a winner by a panel of respected judges, including Eric Benson, Rachel Martin, Naomi Pearson, Tim McNeil and Dougherty of the brain. It is the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize Web site for both categories in each of the following departments: individual / agency, student, company-profit and non profit organization. The winner will receive a prize at the gala event on 27 October, 2011 at the natural history Museum of Los Angeles County, thus a recognition on the AIGA (re) Design Awards website and social media channels.
