This house design consists of three floors area; attic space, ground space, and underground space. At center of the house, there is sunken volume, made open that connect the underground area with outdoor landscape. This sunken volume creates a ramp under the house. This open plan sunken become creative and interesting architectural experience. This modern house design's sunken volume provides daylight to the north-south axis of the house and also spatial experience to create fresh house perspective and create new architecture paradigm how basement/underground area should be like. The open plan sunken ramp become interesting patio anchors, while the center of the ramp framed with glazed walls and become living area that connect both side of underground house area. The main house itself has modest modern shape structure with simple gabled roof style. At one side of this modern house volume, large glass walls installed, capture the landscape and views beyond. The underground area of this modern house design consists of four bedrooms with storage. At first floor large area consist of dining, kitchen, and living room. The attic space is for workspace and study room. Designed by Hofman Dujardin Architects. Size 415m ².
