The Pacaembu Residence was designed by Nave Arquitetos with modern style, built in 637 sqm of site area situated in Pacaembu São Paulo. This house set on a higher plateau and it is formed of two adjacent cubes connected by the staircase, glass boxes and terraces. The remaining area of the plot is free for the preserved garden. The ground floor is occupied by service and social areas that open directly to the lawn. Private functions are located upstairs and a roof terrace has been created as an additional leisure space, taking advantage of the impressive view of the city's skyline. The structure is formed of seven concrete pillars located on the edges of the cubes, liberating space for a free plan. The wide openings receive extensive glass surfaces, providing abundant light into the house, as well as allowing the fruition of the views. – Nave Arquitetos

The City View Residence was designed by Dick Clark Architecture with modern style and sustainable material. This house plan is very open, there are visual connections between living, dining and kitchen. A see through oak screen separates the stair from the kitchen. To separate the public entry hall from the private bedroom wing, we did a floating bookcase/art display millwork piece, we used an ecosmart burner as well, it allowed us to create a fireplace mass that doesn't touch the ceiing which adds non-partition quality of the house. The siding is cypress, it runs inside and out. Configured for entertainment, the glass box living area, along with large sliding doors from the dining and pool room invite guests outside onto the pool deck to take in the spectacular view of the Austin skyline. We tried our best to have as little impact on the environment as well. The house has a 3kw solar panel system, instant hot water heaters, bio foam insulation, rain water collection that irrigates a good portion of the lot, very efficient mechanical systems, and low e glass. – Dick Clark Architecture

This two level small house have 313 m2, designed with modern Scandinavian style by Brazilian Una Arquitetos. The exterior wall painted white stuccoed, combine concrete and glass to give the natural lighting. The house is distinguished by having a very large covered atrium that splits the house into two sections. It gives a cool outdoor area from the heat of Brazil, and reveals that the house is not designed in Scandinavia after all. – Una Arquitetos
