The Raumstation ( English= Space Station) house is a single family located in Gunskirchen Austria. This cantilevered house designed by Austrian based famous architects X Architekten. This Raumstation House basement designed with concrete materials for floor and ceiling while the first level is made of wood floor. Because of the landscape structure, a half space of this white house is placed above metal stilts while another half is on the ground. The building shape is quite simple but the construction make this house looks very special. Interior created with modern minimalist design which looks comfortable enough. The exterior and interior walls are completely painted in white; it could emphasize a contemporary touch to the whole design. Although this house does not fully open to the outside but it could create a great relation with the outdoor environment. The large glass windows let the natural light to fill in the whole interior and also allow the owner to enjoy the surround beauty from inside the house. This contemporary home is completed with an outdoor swimming pool. – X Architekten
