Pool House, Beautiful House Design by Miró Rivera Architects in Texas Posted: 25 Aug 2013 09:43 PM PDT Pool House was designed by Miró Rivera Architects location in Austin, Texas, United States.Due to the steeply sloping site, the elevated living spaces of the existing house prossessd little connection with the pool and backyard bellow. The client requested a new pool and pool house with a closer relationship to the site on each other that would serve as vocal point for both outdoor and indoor activities. The upper floor of the pool house integrated functions, such us the pool bath and out door bar, which directly serve the pool and outdoor use. Inside the main living spaces orient toward the rolling hills of the canyon, with the exposed structure of the ceiling projecting past windows and clerestories to blur the distinction between inside and outside. The curving trellis, which rest on the cantilevered beams of the living room ceiling, become a unifying element that provides shade to both interior and exterior living spaces. |
