Posted: 31 Aug 2013 12:50 AM PDT They build our houses, from the foundation to the completion, they build our entire infrastructures. We are talking about "The Hands that Build America", the professional tradesmen. Electricians, roofers, carpenters, plumbers, bricklayers, woodworkers and many other skilled professionals that we couldn’t imagine our life without. To celebrate the hands that build America, IRWIN Tools, a world class manufacturer of professional tools, initiated the National Tradesmen Day that this year is celebrated for the third time, this case on September 20th. These tradesmen often take their job not as a way to earn a buck, but as a true calling. Building our houses, roads, churches, keeping us warm and fixing our leaky pipes. The fact is that if there were no tradesmen without a heart in it, all of our lives would be very different. As they say, respect needs to be given where respect is due, and that’s exactly what the National Tradesmen Day is all about – thanking the men and women who are the true backbone of every country. "Day in and day out, we hear stories about the significant contributions of America's tradesmen," says Rich Mathews, Senior Vice President of Marketing at IRWIN Tools, "It's vitally important that we say thanks and show appreciation to these hard working men and women who deserve our recognition."
