The refined palate of materials is subverted where volumes are removed to reveal the flesh inside – coloured bright red with glass tiles and joinery. Manly Street Beach House, Beach House Design for a Family of Five Posted: 31 Oct 2013 09:43 AM PDT Manly Street Beach House is a beach house for a family of five was designed by Parsonson Architects.It was intended that the house create a story of passage from suburbia to the beach and the horizon beyond. The living area is a raised pavilion from which to enjoy the hot summers and views of the sea. Metaphors related to the location are threaded through the design. These are present as you pass through or stay in the house, adding a resonance that is not necessarily fully discovered.
