A pouf to get inside Posted: 28 Nov 2013 09:04 PM PST The poufs are charming furniture, which also solved many times the range offer the guests a comfortable side Chair. Initially used to be designed especially for youth and children’s rooms, but its informality has finally fall in love to all, even to the interior designers and decorators more exclusive.
In this article I present a pouf completely innovative. would think that in this type of furniture was already invented? Because you can now renew your concept, because until now no one had designed anything as Snug. A pouf to sit, lie down… And get in.
I love the idea of getting inside the pouf, like a butterfly in a cocoon, or an animal in its burrow. Snug is a design of the furniture and decoration Kumeko, firm and has been especially created to relax on or inside it. The furniture has a super simple design: is just a cushion surrounded by a giant, sleeve that creates a warm welcoming and flexible capsule intended to “embrace” the user. In the upper part (the mouth of Snug) there is a belt of felt with buckle, which serves to support the body in different positions; not only getting into the puf.
Snug is made of a soft material specially developed by Kumeko. This material is composed of pairs of tubes of point stuffed with polyurethane foam, which have been “fabrics” with wool felt 100 percent to create a three-dimensional and visible reason on both sides. Wool retains heat in the sleeve and gives shape to an exceptionally durable and comfortable fabric while the tubes provide a soft, surface that becomes a pleasure to rest to Snug. This fantastic pouf can be found on the website of the firm Kumeko. |
Furniture storage Posted: 28 Nov 2013 05:47 PM PST In the bathroom, oddly, we always have many things that save and there is normally very little space to do so. We always have a lot of cosmetics, hygiene products, perfumes, towels and other accessories that require us to seek spaces for storage and that often are of a small size since these tend to be the smaller rooms of the House.
A great idea is to use furniture storage, which are those that are, as their name indicates, under the sink. This furniture will help us to store many things and not hinder the passage since the space that underneath the sink always tends to be “dead”. There are many options to choose this type of furniture, so you leave a few so that you can Choose your ideal furniture storage: - Custom closet: today basins are no longer the classics that had before and had everyone. There is now much more original parts in shapes and sizes that we are accustomed, but which are great to give you a very original and fun style to your bathroom. It is ideal in these cases to make a Cabinet tailor-made to take advantage of all the space that there is from the sink to the ground. In addition, you can choose it in the style, material and colour that best suits your décor.
 - Shared furniture: in almost all households there are more than one person, which means that each one has their things and need their own space, so almost all the furniture storage they sell come ready with two or more shelves or divided into two if it is the case that you can not integrate two furniture under the toilet. You can choose them with shelves, drawers or simply nothing that that goals inside baskets or any other item that will allow you to get better organized. - Independent modules: they are also a great idea if you do not want to put the traditional cabinet storage and also lead stabilizers, so their transfer is much more comfortable and can take out them and put them more easily, which is also very useful when it comes to clean behind and underneath as you will not be anywhere to clean. There in a lot of materials and finishes so they integrate perfectly in the decor of the bathroom. |
Old Mill House with Winery Posted: 28 Nov 2013 02:31 PM PST In Decoarq are still looking for (and finding) projects who can rehabilitate with taste and respect for antiquity these properties of the past, preserved so much history within its walls. In this case, the House chosen for today’s post was an old mill located in the Priory, in Tarragona, which has been cleverly converted as housing.
In addition to being a superb contemporary House, old mill also now has a dedicated space to Winery. The building, of great beauty and historical attraction, is located in a very small town.
The exterior of the building, whose project of rehabilitation and reform has been made by the study MINIM architects (formed by Agnès Blanch and Elina Vila), has remained practically unchanged in considering the architects who had qualities more than sufficient of itself. Real reform has been in its interior, which currently enjoys spaces of pure design and concept widely minimalist.
The spaces are articulated around an imposing staircase wooden, as simple as spectacular. Distribution has respected the original spaces mostly, and currently on the ground floor we find a large lounge which includes kitchen-dining room, open-plan structure. The bedroom and bathroom are on the second floor. A porch full of elegance, with hardwood floors and a stylized sculpture in oxidized iron, creates a space that invites to rest and contemplation of the natural environment.

Modern offices of Bührmann Partners in Namibia Posted: 28 Nov 2013 10:52 AM PST More than a block of offices, this building could easily correspond to modern and minimalist, pleasant housing with large glass doors that give access to the garden from the common areas. But in reality it is offices Bürhmann Partners firm established in Windhoek (Namibia) in 2010, and whose design is still a magnificent example of balance, elegance and quality.
The project was the winner of a mini contest that launched the company, and which won the Wasserfall Munting Architects Studio, captained by Jaco Wasserfall. The building stands on an estate of 1500 square meters, which is located in a street without exit located on the Klein Windhoek suburb . More than an office area is a residential area where the peace campaign by their respects. To build the new offices had to demolish the existing House, and also customers left well clear that original garden should be fully preserved. They also stipulate the use of cement and the introduction of water as an element of architecture. The three partners wanted to be placed in separate offices endowed with views over the garden. Starting from these premises, the simplicity and clarity of geometry were the inspiration for the overall project. A long beam of cement is used as a prominent axis of circulation, articulating a clear approach to building both by users and visitors. Individual offices and meeting rooms are directly connected with the glass facades of the main volume, framing the view that from this point are obtained from the garden.

The best colors for the exterior of the home Posted: 28 Nov 2013 07:15 AM PST In style I have talked repeatedly about color walls from inside the home. However, in the world of Interior design in general not is given so much importance to the colours used on the outside of the housing, and why they are important, not in vain are the first thing you see when you arrive.
When choosing the color of the exterior of homes must be considered different factors, including the environment (forest, mountains, city…), because it is preferable that the chosen key fits the environment around. The architecture of a House also influences the color of it. For example, the houses of old architectural styles look better with the colors of the season. For this reason, it is important to investigate a bit to find the most suitable for the style of your home. Taking these factors into account, we are going to talk to you about the best colors to paint the exterior of your home.
White is safe for most of the housing option. In addition, they can be accented with any combination of colors. For this reason, white has been the most popular exterior color for households in the last 200 years.
The soft earth tones (light brown, toast, beige…) are also well suited for homes abroad, since they look good in any environment and provide peace and quiet. As for yellow tones, transmit joy and emanate warmth. It can work perfectly with a white or clear finish. Although they are less common, the Green and blue are also recommended to paint the outside of the housing. That Yes, it’s colors bold which are less tolerant when trying to find the right tone.
Finally, as the only black dark colors are advisable for the details, rather than the primary exterior color. |
The Treehouse in Belgium: living in the air Posted: 28 Nov 2013 03:57 AM PST The architects of the Belgian Baumraum team are responsible for the Ethereal The Treehouse (La Casa-arbol), a project designed with the intention of grouping in a construction environment conservation and care of people, the planet and its riches. It is a house designed with the purpose of “save the gap between the economy and ecology”.
Thus, this beautiful home is not only a House in the trees but it is a small architectural Marvel, equipped with facilities to date and situated in the forests of Hechtel-Eksel (Belgium). As simple as intelligent, The Treehouse draws attention by its lightness.
\CartyStudios Corporation\Auto Blogging Software - WebMagnates.org\data\belleinterior\1\Treehouse_Ter_06+.jpg) This House, in fact, is not a project inhabited and commissioned by a private individual, but a proposal of several agents (which include public agencies and the community of Hechtel-Eksel) companies will “catch the batteries” in terms of sostenibilidad, during their daily activities. What best way to get it to build a house in the trees?
\CartyStudios Corporation\Auto Blogging Software - WebMagnates.org\data\belleinterior\1\Treehouse_I_04+-640x426.jpg) All facilities obtained (green electricity and water purification) supplies of the Museum which is located in the vicinity, although some of them are self-sufficient. It is the case of heat pump located under the floor, which extracts the heat from the water and takes it to the House. The ventilation system is based on units integrated into the banks. And in terms of lighting, all of it is based on LEDs of low consumption with daylight and movement sensors.
