Fotos de dormitorios modernos
¿Vas a cambiar tu dormitorio?

We are still receiving information about many innovations that come sticking of face to the next autumn-winter on decoration. In the case of today’s post, innovation through design of sanitary and bathroom cabinets, one of the most creative sectors of modern interior design.

It is a collection of simple and evocative name: Mia, created by renowned Italian Designer Franco Bertoli for Ideal Standard signature. Its avant-garde lines are perfect to furnish contemporary bathrooms, and this simplicity makes that the surfaces are easy to clean. And best of all: its simplicity and economy of lines makes a very timeless collection, which won’t be fashionable for many years.

Nueva colección de baños de Franco Bertoli
The collection consists of a series of elements (basins, toilets, bidets…) monolithic-style and Compact. That is, no nooks or recesses, minimalistic and architectural style that takes almost two decades of fashion. Various elements have called me much attention toilets and bidets suspended, super elegant and harmonious aesthetics that creates an attractive sense of balance. There are also models of soil, as you can see in the photographs.

Nueva colección de baños de Franco Bertoli
The washbasins or sinks are probably the “Star pieces” in the Mia collection. In addition to its beautiful design, characterized by having a hole wide and studied to the millimeter, intended to prevent splashing water around. They are ergonomic and practical designs, and can also be found in suspended format or floor. These health so pretty may be precious if combined with a current ceramic coating that generates a rustic texture, as he appears in the opening photo. The contrast between the rough and smooth surfaces is, without doubt, a success…

Fogo Island Studios

Los estudios de Fogo Island
These buildings, so basic and beautiful as the rugged landscape that surrounds them, are gradually becoming an authentic urban myth and architectural. Coast of North Atlantic rise four exclusive studies (which soon will become six) occupying plots of the North coast of Newfoundland (Canada). Farms are on an island with a population of 2706.

It all started in the year 2004, when the Shorefast Foundation was established on the island to breathe a new life, and attract visitors committed to cultural tourism and sustainable…

Los estudios de Fogo Island
A few years later established the Fogo Island Arts Corporation, whose intention was from the beginning the island become a meeting point for artists from all over the world, and thus preserve the Island traditions. The new Corporation focused on bringing the concept to a new level, providing visitors not only a place to sleep but also other facilities such as a library, sauna and spa, an Art Gallery, a small cinema…

Los estudios de Fogo Island
The overall design of the project was assigned to the local architect Todd Saunders, who decided to focus on the challenge from a personal and family perspective. Thus, Saunders managed to introduce new angles in the natural environment of the island through “clean” geometric constructions. Each Studio has its own, unique design; the first, Long Studio, was completed in the year 2010. Three more were created in 2011, while the remaining two (Short Studio and Fogo Studio) will be completed soon

Casa basada en la bioarquitectura
After showing you the amazing House V, located in A Coruña, Galicia, today we moved to Italy to show the work of the architect Diego Bartolato, a project for a new town developed in the northeast of the country, Moferrato Coutryside Area, Piedmont, which follows the principle of bio-architecture.

As you can see yourself in the images, the development of the new and private residence, after last year, relies on the juxtaposition of two fundamental bodies, the main house and a service annex, United by a roof, oriented and designed to maximize solar gain in the winter and to protect and reduce the penetration of it during the summer. A third building, the garage, is separated from his predecessors. Would you like more details? So attentive!

Both the idea and the need was the local context, in accordance with the precise request of the customer, who wanted to unify the new building it dialogara with the rural buildings in the area of intervention. The structure rests on a concrete base armed with 32 piles, but not on the floor of the basement floor.

On the other hand, you can see the development of a large deck and garage with double height, that uses this input to create a functional device in accordance with eco- efficiency attributes that you wanted to achieve, in a building of prefabricated wooden structure, characterized by the use of natural and sustainable materials. In addition, selected wood frames with panels of composite wood, natural wood, natural hemp fibre insulation…

On the other hand, external terminations are based on gypsum, wooden systems Thermo pane windows, concrete floors waxed in the ground floor and outdoor areas and the upper floors oak oiled wood flooring. The building is equipped with heating and cooling radiant sueloe, humidity of air and ventilation systems mechanical control system. All this makes it possible to be considered energy class A.

Ceramic effect patchwork

Cerámica efecto patchwork
The patchwork is pure trend. It is in fashion and decoration, and within this last universe, we can find it in bedspreads, cushions and other home textiles… Even in applications of fabric to create walls of patchwork.

But now, things are going beyond, and this technique of sewing that hitherto had applied in textile, begins to conquer other materials. And, what better matter than ceramics, malleable and versatile, to emulate the patchwork effect?

Cerámica efecto patchwork
Thanks to their technical characteristics, the ceramic for walls and floors offers an infinite range of possibilities when it comes to decorating. One of them is represented on a wall, or a part of it if you prefer, the patchwork technique.

Tiles and floor tiles are the perfect pieces to perform original combinations, inspired by this technique of seam of English origin. The key is to get asymmetrical but balanced, compositions that give as a result a decorative visual effect.

Thanks to the new tiles decorated in the purest style patchwork models, it is possible to achieve a wide variety of colors, textures, decorative motifs and styles. An important aspect when choosing the models, perhaps maintaining a chromatic unity. As designs are so varied and the mix of motives is the essence of the patchwork, should have set some homogeneity in the colors.

In addition to stimulate significant spaces, can have a practical use, for example, to separate environments. An example would be to create a patchwork cloth on the wall as a way of delimiting the dining room and separate it visually from the working area of the kitchen.

Cerámica efecto patchwork
Although, personally, the patchwork effect I most like on the walls than on the soils, also you can configure pavements following these decorative bases. In this sense, the traditional hydraulic tiled floors are a clear benchmark of style.

As if the lights of Christmas that flood your city is colaran in your House, it uses light to your home to breathe Christmas everywhere.

Normally, Christmas lights are associated with Christmas trees, but the truth is that they don’t have to be only in the tree. Increasingly these lights are used to decorate areas of the home, furniture or walls and give it a unique touch.

Cómo iluminar tu casa en Navidad
You dust off your Christmas lights, and instead of putting them on the tree, try to create an magical atmosphere along the baseboard of your living room or arranging them on a shelf or dresser. Choose lights warm , Orange, avoids the strident colors and not be intermittent.

A very fashionable trend is to create a waterfall on the wall, either with these lights or garlands of paper. These fit perfectly into the Christmas decoration, because they offer a very warm light and its shape is very representative of these dates.

The Christmas lighting is not only a perfect, complement also manages to create an atmosphere that we would hardly get with another type of lighting. If you have you kids at home, it incorporates these lights in your room and replaced his usual lamp with a role that represents a star. You’ll feel the Christmas, and stargazing, closer than ever.
