Kitchen furniture style Mondrian Posted: 30 May 2016 04:40 AM PDT A few days ago we saw in Furniture magazine how easy that is to renew old chairs and give them a new look. The truth is that enough with good paint, paint quality, a bit of skill and original ideas to achieve finishes of pure design. And if not, what I say kitchen furniture and chairs Mondrian style I teach in these photos?
The idea, fully retro, is great. Sure many will have seen and even have these classic chairs, kitchen, if poorly not memory used to be accompanied of stools and tables. With steel tube legs and countertops from Particleboard melamine, it is possible to give them a new life with paint.
As you can see, just three or four cans of paint to carry out this work. The first thing to do is to apply two coats of synthetic sealant, kitchen furniture and chairs to be possible with roller and brush quality. So we will leave the surface ready to “seize” good painting. Then, paint all surfaces with two coats of white esmalte-laca. I recommend that you lijéis a little paint when dry using sandpaper No. 600: will be so smooth and soft.
To make the compositions of color , you’ll have to go delimiting areas with masking tape. It is best to first paint the squares and rectangles of color live pure, lemon yellow and blue red. When they are dry, return to delimit the strips corresponding to the black. The best painting is, as I said, the satin esmalte-laca: is super tough. As you can see, in one of the chairs in black and white photos of time have also have stuck: are great, right? Simply paste them with white glue and then varnishing chairs with two coats of clear acrylic varnish to keep you for a long time. Poufs and chairs filled with hay Posted: 29 May 2016 04:40 PM PDT At this stage all we do us an idea of what is a pouf or an armchair, all comes an image to the head that may differ slightly depending on the person. However, I am sure none imagines a pouf or a Chair like that they show in this entry.
They are transparent and are filled with Hay, all in order to achieve a unique rustic effect. The idea has been Italian Fabio Percio and the price of Hey, that this is how the collection is called is 314euro. Worst of all is that the surface is vinyl, so I don’t think they are very comfortable… More information at e-side.co.uk/designer/29.
