| Contemporary Sauna Cabin, Inipi by Duravit and EOOS Posted: 15 Jul 2011 08:21 PM PDT Bathroom furnishings manufacturer, Duravit is collaborating with Austria-based design firm EOOS, to introduce a revolutionary sauna cabin with the aim of bringing the sauna to the bathroom. The new collection possesses a compact design by which it can be accommodated in any bath or living space with ease while providing enough space for sauna users. Thanks to a sophisticated utilization of space, the cabin is so compact that it will fit into the bathroom or living area while still offering plenty of space inside for sitting and even lying down.
The floor, wall and ceiling are made of untreated wood, and the spacious feeling of the sauna is enhanced by the glazed front, which gives Inipi both a unique transparency and an exceptionally elegant look. The heater and stones are integrated into the sauna module but remain concealed behind a panel. The minimalist design of Inipi conveys a sense of relaxation and clarity. As a refreshing option, the sauna can be combined with the Inipi Ama shower module.
The look of the collection bears a panache with its fully glazed front which makes it transparent. Inipi also features a manual control resembling a stone as well as an operating module which is hidden behind a flap positioned on the sauna’s exterior portion. Different sauna functions including temperature, air humidity, vaporisation, coloured light and sound can be individually adjusted in Inipi with the help of this manual control and operating module.

Designed by Karim Rashid for Cielo, Floot wash basins incorporates a simple and elegant look and amplifies the aesthetics of any contemporary bathroom. It is an exceptionally elegant pedestal wash basin that is sure to add simple sophistication to any modern contemporary bathroom.
The new wash basin provides two different types of installation options, pedestal or recessed. The pedestal sink will feature smooth tapered lines providing the illusion of water flow. A significant feature of the Floot collection is that it allows the wash dish to be changed with other basins which form part of the same collection. The basin alternatives will include flashy and ornate designs by Karim Rashid and will help alter the appearance of the bathroom in a simple manner.
